Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) is the integrated prefix for data backup.
2019: Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) DP4400
On May 21, 2019 it became known that Dell Technologies announced the device of the integrated protection dannykhdell EMC Integrated Data Protection Appliance.
For the companies of small and medium business which need the improved data protection in the integrated device, Dell EMC released the version of Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) DP4400 with a capacity of 8-24 TB. The version of IDPA DP4400 system of smaller capacity is ideal for the small organizations and remote offices. It allows to increase storage capacity up to 96 TB by purchase of license keys and a set of updating.
Dell EMC IDPA DP4400 8-24TB will go on sale in May, 2019.

On May 8, 2017 the Dell EMC company provided the integrated prefix of backup Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) representing the solution for the organization of backup.
The IDPA prefixes use a packet of backup of Dell EMC Data Protection Suite and technology of deduplication of Data Domain Dell EMC[1].
The IDPA family consists of four models: DP5300, DP5800, DP8300 and DP8800. The first two are focused on medium business, two others – on large enterprises.
Formatted capacity of younger DP5300 model in initial configuration 34 TB and 130 TB in maximum, the senior DP8800 model is scaled by from 624 TB to 1 PB. Capacity 24 and 68 Tbyte/hour respectively.
The IDPA prefixes are capable to provide backup for virtual machines VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V and applications Oracle SAP Microsoft Exchange SharePoint SQL Server Sybase MySQL, MongoDB and Hadoop. They can write backup copies in private and public clouds Microsoft Azure including Amazon.
