GM-Box G1 is an original multifunctional docking station that combines the functions of a thin client and a video phone with secure access to virtual desktop infrastructure, the Internet and IP telephony, with the ability to authenticate a user using a smartphone, smart card, token. Information security is built into the hardware solution. And together with software tools for management and integration, a single environment is formed for the work of corporate employees both in offices and remotely.

The principle of operation of the product is based on combining one or two computing modules, a KVM switch, in one device; IP phone, webcam, contactless smart card readers, wireless communication interface modules (Wi-Fi/BT, 3G/LTE), contact and contactless charging of the smartphone.

The GM-Box architecture is implemented on the principle of a thin client using the Zero Trust model. The system software of the docking station is protected from modification by the user. All computing processes, applications, and data are centrally processed within the secure perimeter of the data center (DPC) and virtual desktop environment (VDI). The device does not store or process user data locally - it exclusively provides access to the virtual desktop and applications, which ensures the optimal level of security and prevents unauthorized access to information.

GM-Box runs the GM CORE KIT embedded software, which ensures the operation of the device and its integration into the customer's IT landscape. The device provides the user with access to voice calls and video conferencing through a connected headset without additional configuration. The phone number and call history are "tied" to the user, not to a specific device. The system allows you to create secure communication channels from the terminal to the corporate network without the need for additional network equipment and provides secure connection of remote GM-Boxes in home offices, "field" conditions and small branches.

GM-Box devices run server software included in the GM Smart System platform developed by the Russian company GETMOBIT. The company was founded by Maria Rukavishnikova in 2016. The devices are assembled at their own production site in the Dubna SEZ. The company's full R&D center employs more than 20 engineers.

Registration in the register of radioelectronic products allows the docking station to participate in procurement procedures for government agencies, large businesses, critical infrastructure (CII) facilities. More than 70% of CII facilities belong to the fuel and energy complex. The preferential use of domestic IT solutions in these sectors is enshrined in the requirements of Presidential Decree No. 166 and Government Decree No. 878. In accordance with the plans of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the share of domestic electronic devices in the regulated market should reach 95%, and in general in the domestic market - 70%. In 2024, the market for Russian electronic products grew by 34% compared to the previous year, from 2.6 to 3.5 trillion rubles. The volume of potential demand in Russia for GM-Box in GETMOBIT was estimated at more than 5 million user jobs.
