Thunderobot 911 Air D

According to M.Video-Eldorado dated July 15, 2022, the first to go on sale was a thin, powerful and lightweight Thunderobot 911 Air D laptop at a price of 74,999 rubles. The hardware platform is based on an 11th generation six-core Intel Core i5 processor (11260H), it is complemented by a discrete graphics card GeForce GTX 1650, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The screen diagonal is 15.6 inches, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Weight - 2.15 kg.

Until the end of the third quarter, the group plans to expand the range of laptops. The top model will have Intel a Core i9 processor and a 3080 Ti graphics card. All Thunderobot models have the ability to upgrade (SSD and RAM). By the end of the year, M.Video Dorado will also go on sale game monitors and system units from the Thunderobot brand.

Entering the Russian market

In mid-July 2022, the Chinese company Haier Group officially launched a new Thunderobot brand on the Russian market. Under it will first be sold ( laptops the first model has already arrived in retail chains), and later - computer monitors and system units. All equipment is designed for a gaming audience.

M.Video-Eldorado Group has become an exclusive retail partner of the Thunderobot brand in Russia. Buyers will receive service support in more than 200 service centers throughout the Russian Federation.

Oleg Reznikov, director of the Home Office and Photo cluster at M.Video - Eldorado, noted that in the six months of 2022 in Russia, gaming models accounted for more than 15% of total laptop sales, that is, over 200 thousand units.

According to M.Video - Eldorado, Thunderobot develops and produces a wide range of technological products, including laptops, PCs, monitors, keyboards and devices. In the Chinese market, from 2014 to July 2022, more than 20 million users have already acquired this technique. For the Russian market, Thunderobot localizes its computer products. 

Mobile Research Group analyst Eldar Murtazin, in a conversation with Izvestia , stressed that other Chinese computer vendors are entering the Russian market. He cited Infinix as an example.

According to the expert, in a crisis, Chinese manufacturers need sales, and in terms of establishing sales, many of them are focused on Russia, says Eldar Murtazin.

Unlike computer giants, small manufacturers from the PRC have little fear of American sanctions. Tracking sales of these companies and imposing restrictions against them is an extremely difficult and time-consuming task even for the US authorities. At the same time, in America, the conceived do not know about their existence, since these vendors do not conduct sales there in the markets where they work, the Americans simply cannot put any pressure on them, the expert noted.[1]
