2022: Students' invention of modular system of automation of various real estate objects
Students of the Moscow Polytechnic within the framework of the Home++ project are inventing a modular system for automating various real estate objects. The goal was to solve the problem of high cost, energy consumption and low functionality of such devices in the real estate market. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Polytechnic on November 17, 2022. Students are developing smart devices, such as a leak sensor, gas leaks, which are combined into a single system, thanks to the main module.
The idea of the project arose even before entering the university. And already in my first year at the Moscow Polytechnic, I applied for a project at the Project Activity Center. She was approved. I have assembled a team of guys with whom they have already started work. The idea was to create a modular automation system for real estate objects. In fact, this is a "smart home," which consists of various modules separately purchased. Such a system is easily scalable and integrable into other systems, noted Maxim Shtil, project manager "Home++."

Such an invention can be used in an apartment, as well as states. institutions, for example, in schools, to ensure indoor safety and prevent emergencies. A feature of the development is the price, as well as the devices themselves, their technological features and two types of data transfer between them: wired and wireless.
The team plans to finalize the existing prototypes before the operation of the main controller, to which it will be possible to connect individual devices. And these devices will be combined into a "grid," thereby creating the entire smart home system. Therefore, we concentrate on creating a finished device. These will be leakage sensors that transmit information to the main module using radio signals. We will also work on a device to control gas leakage and smoke, shared project plans, Maxim Shtil.

A mock-up sample with a control device, which students controlled from the phone, is already ready: a signal is sent from the smartphone to the main module, after which the indicator lights up on it. Several modules are also ready - a key and a dimer.
The project team consists of engineers, 3D modellers, designers and programmers. Students plan to invest the won grant in the development of the project: equipment, tools and components will be purchased.
