Navitel Navigator

The Navitel Navigator is the system of navigation, including detailed navigation charts of all Russia and also free services of " Navitel.stopper ", "Navitel.SMS", " Navitel.event ", Dynamic POI and " Navitel.weather ". The navigation chart of Russia for Navitel includes 136,072 localities of the country, from them 3317 cities and localities — with a detailed street road network and establishing shots. In Navitel the most detailed maps of the Moscow and Leningrad regions are available. Detailed maps of all regions of Russia. More than 607,000 points of POI (gas station, traffic police, cafe, restaurants, motels, hotels, etc.) are applied on the Russia map and also information on a location of surveillance cameras behind the motion speed (SPEEDCAM) is included.

Free service across all Russia. All users of the Navitel Navigator system are active participants of determination of road jams and free roads. At the included service of the Stopper, data on the speed of movement of the car are collected and transferred to analytical center where these data are processed and provided to users of the program in the form of the "traffic jams" designated on the card *. «SPEEDCAM»

It is no secret that on the most dangerous sections of roads of Russia control systems of the speed (SPEEDCAM) are even more often installed. In time to warn the driver about approach to dangerous section, we developed the system of advance notifications. Thanking this technology, the driver in advance will obtain information on approach to dangerous section and will be able to reduce motion speed in time. 2019: The Navitel Navigator 9.11 for devices based on Android and IOS OS

On August 2, 2019 the company Navitel announced an exit of upgraded version of the Navitel Navigator 9.11 program for devices based on OS Android and iOS iPhone iPad (and). Updated application received additional options of the choice at creation of a route, more user-friendly interface of display of the nearest POI and also notifications about road signs.

According to the developer, thanks to additional opportunities of the Navitel Navigator 9.11, began to lay a route even more simply and quicker. Intuitive icons give the chance to the user already at the time of creation of a route not only to select necessary type of transport, but also to configure detours of toll highways, dirt roads or ferries to make a trip of the most comfortable.

As the developer noted, the Navitel Navigator 9.11 got one more function, useful to travelers. In upgraded version of the program the dynamic list of the nearest POI (these are infrastructure facilities, sights, natural objects and important points on roads which can be useful to users in everyday life), with indication of distance to them, is output on the device screen directly in the navigation mode. To change a route and to stop by on the way on gas station or at cafe, the user does not need to use the Search function any more — it is just necessary to click an icon of an object and in one contact to rebuild a route in information window.

Besides, in the updated interface of the Navitel Navigator 9.11 program visual information on road signs at the movement appeared on route. According to the developer, this option will be useful if the user appeared on an unfamiliar difficult outcome where from one point several large trunks and also a set of the congresses and branches located very closely to each other disperse. In such situation, it is possible to miss easily the necessary congress and to lose a route. Display of information road signs on the screen of the device will serve as an additional reference point and will help to be prepared for the forthcoming maneuver beforehand.

Also in upgraded version of the Navitel Navigator 9.11 program the improved plotting of cards and faster creation of routes are available, emphasized in Navitel.

As of August, 2019 owners of devices with operating system Android can load updating of the Navitel Navigator 9.11 in Google Play and also on the website Navitel in the section to Download. Users of iPhone and iPad can load the Navitel Navigator 9.11 in AppStore (iTunes). The free full-function version of the program is available within 7 days after downloading. After this period for access to the Navitel Navigator premium version it is necessary to purchase a license key. It is also possible to purchase an annual subscription for the selected maps.

2018: Navitel Navigator 9.10.903

On July 9, 2018 the company "Center of Navigation Technologies " announced release of upgraded version of the Navitel Navigator program for NAVITEL autonavigators based on OS Windows CE.

In the Navitel Navigator 9.10.903 version:

• The algorithm of notifications about approach to control cameras, potentially dangerous places and customer services is implemented.

In the updated interface the intelligent system of warnings of approach to control cameras, potentially dangerous places and customer services became available. The Navitel Navigator supports detailed base of cameras of control (14 types), potentially dangerous places (9 types) and customer services (7 types). At the movement on route in the right part of the screen the list of the next objects with distance to them is displayed. In process of approach the program displays the notification with a distance countdown to the camera, danger or customer service.

The processed interface allows to warn beforehand the driver not only about camera type, but also about the direction of control of the camera (counter, passing) leaking and recommended to speed in a zone of control of the camera and other useful information on route. Unambiguous notifications will help the driver to reduce beforehand speed or to change vehicle provision on the carriageway, to learn about approach to customer service or potentially dangerous place (the non-regulated crosswalk, dangerous change of the high-speed mode, dangerous turn, etc.).

• Display of high-speed restrictions is updated

Admissible motion speed on section of the road is displayed on the center of the navigation menu, near the current speed of the car. When exceeding of the set value the program sends visual warnings: orange color – speeding up to 10 km/h; red – the high level of danger, speeding on 11 km/h and more.

• The design progress bar is improved

At the movement on route the navigator displays the passable distance to a destination point. The green cursor moves on progress bar in the direction of a final point. The user will be able quickly to check not only the remained transit time, but also distance to the purpose.

Indication of navigation in tunnels was added to upgraded version of the Navitel Navigator and also the base of the branded POI was added (gas station, ATMs, shops, cafe and others).

Updating of the Navitel Navigator 9.10.903 is available to the following devices:

2017: There was version 9.9 release

On August 28, 2017 the NAVITEL company announced a release of the version of software of the Navitel Navigator 9.9 for devices running Android OS. In the version routing for cargo transport is improved, the algorithm of calculation of transit time at intersection of border is implemented.

Main changes

• display of numbers of congresses is improved
• Are displayed by * B of this version of number of congresses above the screen near the name of the highway or route on which the driver needs to contract. Together with the three-dimensional map of roads this information in addition simplifies navigation, helping the driver to be guided at the movement on the main trunks.
• routing for cargo transport is updated
  • At creation of a route for the truck the Navitel Navigator 9.9 application considers the existing road restrictions for machines of this kind. The choice of the type of transport is available to the user in the main menu of the program.

• the algorithm of calculation of time at journey through border is implemented
  • Intersection of frontier can take a lot of time drivers. When calculating transit time of the Navitel Navigator 9.9 considers delays on boundary automobile check points. Drivers gain a realistic impression about arrival time at the very beginning of a route.

The voice packet in Finnish was a part of the version. The Navitel Navigator supports voice hints in 31 languages. 36 language versions of the interface of the program are available to users.

Owners of devices with the Android operating system can load updating of the Navitel Navigator 9.9 into Google Play or on the website NAVITEL.
