Omnicomm LLD

Omnicomm LLD is the LLD fuel volume indicator.

The device displays fuel volume in the first, second (in the presence) and totally in two tanks of the vehicle, reading out indications from digital sensors of the LLS level. The LLD indicator helps to determine quickly and precisely fuel volume in a tank.

Functionality and features of the device

• Consists of one element – the LLD fuel volume indicator. The panel fastens in the driver's cabin in any convenient location: on the torpedo, on a cabin wall near registrar FAS, FMS or the terminal block of other monitoring system of transport. A power supply of the indicator is performed from a vehicle network of the vehicle (from 8 to 45 C). The indicator reads out data on fuel level from the sensor or LLS sensors, will transform them to volume units (liters) and displays.

• It can be used, as with the FAS and FMS systems of production of the company Omnicomm, as a part of transport monitoring systems GPS/GLONASS other producers and out of monitoring systems, together with the LLS fuel level sensor.

• Displays fuel volume in the first, second (if it is set on the vehicle) and totally in two fuel tanks of the vehicle. Display or volume or level of fuel (as a percentage or length units).

• Stable operation of the indicator of volume of LLD fuel even in severe weather conditions in the temperature range from - 40C to + 70C.

• The fuel scoping error the LLS sensor - 1% of the volume of the fuel tank, the LLD indicator allows to display the measured value with an accuracy of 1 liter.

2015: Omnicomm LLD went to a series

On November 24, 2015 the Omnicomm company announced start in serial production of the indicator of volume of Omnicomm LLD fuel with advanced functionality.

As the company stated, all wishes of clients and partners are considered in development process and included in the updated indicator. Now it displays:

• Control of volume of the filled fuel.
  • Function will allow the driver to see on site the volume of the fuel which got to a tank. Earlier the Omnicomm LLD indicator displayed only the total amount of fuel in a tank, and it was possible to look at other parameters in Omnicomm Online.

• Control of volume of the fuel issued by the fueler through a distributing gun.
  • Early this information was available only in Omnicomm Online. Function is available during the work with the Omnicomm Profi 2.0 terminal and with the attached device of removal of a signal (DRS).

• Information display from a universal input.
  • At connection of the indicator to navigation Omnicomm terminals display on the value indicator from a universal input is implemented. Depending on type of the connected additional hardware the indicator displays value on a universal input, for example, temperature in the refrigerator or inclusion/shutdown of the additional hardware (a ladle raising, engine speed, etc.)

• The quantity of points in the calibration table is increased up to 56.
  • This innovation will allow to display more precisely fuel volume in tanks of irregular shape. The added functions can be used in earlier installed Omnicomm LLD indicators, it is necessary to update the version of the built-in software of the device only.
