2018: Start of service

In June, 2018 Amazon started service for fitting of clothes before purchase. Experts  of Zacks Investment Research consider that the new project which received the name Prime Wardrobe will help Internet giant to select an additional part of sales at traditional offline stores.

Prime Wardrobe works as follows: after receiving the clothes ordered through Amazon the buyer has a week on return of things. If the user retains them within seven days, the amount of purchases is charged off the bank account.

Amazon takes away what did not approach itself, and the buyer keeps the pleasant objects of clothes and receives an additional discount depending on quantity of the objects purchased for time. 

Prime Wardrobe is new service which gets a fitting room directly to you home therefore you can try on the latest styles and select the goods which are ideal for you before purchase, says Amazon.

Directly for the choice and purchase of articles of clothing  the Amazon Clothing service  where except clothes of the known brands also 13 own brands of Amazon offering to buyers at the attractive price footwear, suits, dresses, a business and casual dress, working clothes, clothes for children, underwear, etc. are provided was started. 

Some Russian online retailers, for example, of Lamoda, deliver clothes and accessories to the house or in office, give time for fitting and suggest to leave the pleasant things.

By the end of June, 2018 of Prime Wardrobe it is available only to the American users. According to estimates  of EMarketer research company, 20% of total sales volume of clothes and accessories in the USA are the share of the online canal.
