2021: Automation Sampling System
On September 17, 2021, RoboSample and Trimble announced a joint project on automated sampling systems. The goal of the project is to create an effective robotic platform for ground-based agrochemical surveys.
Roboprob produces platforms of the same name for agrochemical research and is developing with the support of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
The RoboSample platform independently moves around the field at a speed of up to 30 km/h, collecting samples in pre-planned areas. Positioning takes place using GPS the system/with GLONASS an accuracy of 1 meter. In one route, the probe can collect up to 36 samples, each of which will be marked and collected in a special compartment inside its body. RoboSample works with any type of soil.
Trimble, for its part, has committed itself to the development of the project software. Thanks to such cooperation, the robot will be able not only to collect samples and be positioned in the fields, but also to create prescription maps. In the future, they will be loaded into the Trimble display, and they will be controlled by a trailed fertilizer application unit. As a result, a full cycle will be completed: from sampling to creating maps and executing them on equipment.
As of September 2021, RoboSample is actively undergoing industrial operation at agricultural enterprises.
Agriculture it is impossible to imagine without precision farming systems. More and more companies Russia in create their own projects in this area. We are always open to cooperation and ready to help integration with our solutions in products. 'RoboSample' is one of the examples of our interaction with Russian companies. We are pleased that Trimble's long experience helps create products and solutions, "said Lavrenty Plotnikov, head of key customer relations Russia at and. CIS |
Trimble, together with RoboSample, also plans to use precision farming technologies on the Russian market in conjunction with the use of Boston Dynamics robots to collect information from fields not only as part of an agrochemical survey, but also to conduct visual control over sowing.
{{quote 'Project "RoboSample" has existed since 2015 and I can confidently say that this is an excellent product, one of the best in the market, which has significant advantages to competitors. He is not afraid of water and can take up to 100 samples on arable land. It is very important for us that Trimble software and equipment are suitable for any equipment.
Thanks to our cooperation, we will receive feedback, we will be able to collect data, analyze and make improvements to RoboSample. In our immediate plans to develop a franchise network. With the help of Trimble software, we will be able to control the work of our robots, including those held by partners, "said Vladimir Eliseev, CEO of RoboSample.}}
