The neurointerface - the device for information exchange between a brain and the external device (household appliances, the computer, an exoskeleton, artificial organs of feelings, the wheelchair).

2019: Rostec will bring the BrainReader neurointerface to international market

On April 25, 2019 the Avtomatika Concern reported that it will bring to international market the universal BrainReader neurointerface which allows to make "exchange" of information between the brain of the person and any external device having necessary interaction interfaces. The concern already started obtaining allowing documentation for entry into the markets of the countries of Asia.

The neuroheadset can be used for management of the "smart" systems and robotics, in medicine – for rehabilitation of physically disabled people, in researches of a brain of the person, cogitative activity, a dream and in many other spheres. The neuroheadset allows to register the superficial electroencephalogram under natural conditions, without limiting physical activity of the user. Data are taken off by means of a noninvasive method – specially developed "dry" electrodes which do not require use of electroconductive gel. At the expense of high-quality processings of the registered signal the device steadily works even in places of big accumulation of people, in transport, in an environment of a large number of sending devices and other noises.

The neuroheadset is extremely significant for such clinical areas as neurophysiology, a neuropsychology, neurology. Among the main applications it is possible to note: robotic prostheses of extremities, the system of the smart home, manipulators in computer games. We see big perspectives for a research of perception and "processing" of information a brain and also in neuromarketing – for studying of behavior of buyers", in education – for April, 2019 the neuroheadset is used for training of children in fundamentals of neurophysiology and the roboequipment.

2018: Creation of a pre-series sample

On September 10, 2018 the Rostec company announced creation of a pre-series sample of the device for information exchange between a brain and the external device (household appliances, the computer, an exoskeleton, artificial organs of feelings, the wheelchair).

Neurointerface

According to the company, the neurointerface steadily works in places of big accumulation of people, in transport, in an environment of a large number of sending devices.

The Institute electronic as the managing director of machines (INEUM) of I.S. Brook worked on creation of technology. In an invention the mechanism of adaptive digital processing of electric activity of a brain and a noninvasive method of removal given on the basis of "dry" electrodes is implemented. As of September, 2018 it allows to register with an accuracy of 92-95% signals without direct contact with a brain, having built in the interface a special helmet which can be removed and put on easily.

Especially for the neurointerface the hardware-software platform processing signals, and "cleaning" them from noises was created. At the expense of it, the device can be used not only in "sterile" laboratory conditions: it steadily works in places of big accumulation of people, in transport, in an environment of a large number of sending devices. Accuracy of processing of a signal at the same time does not fall.

Robotics – the key direction of researches and activity of world industrial corporations. Rostec here not an exception. Development of our engineers opens new opportunities for medicine in the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation of disabled people with different motor violations. The neurointerface will allow to manage any electronic or electronic and mechanical devices: prostheses or vehicles. The device can be used to system management of the smart home or as the manipulator in computer games. In 2019 a helmet is going to be put on the free market.
