2025: RusRobot Model GR-40 45 Kg Production Launch

Robot Factory""launched mass production of the first industrial robots that move over machines. The new cantilever portal robots RusRobot GR-40 has a capacity of 45 kg and opens up new opportunities for manufacturing enterprises. Representatives announced the launch of RusRobot production on May 26, 2025.

The robot moves from above the machines, and the loading and unloading of blanks is done from above directly into the machine, and not from the side, as in ordinary six-axis robots.

Thanks to this solution, space is saved in production, since the machines can be placed close to each other. The robot moves two products in one movement, and its carrying capacity allows you to move up to 70% of all parts used in mechanical engineering.

Thanks to the long X axis, one robot can serve up to four to five machines depending on the processing time. As a result, the number of robots required in production is reduced, and robotization of areas with long machine processing times becomes cost-effective.

The new robots provide a fast payback for the customer within 3-4 months. The universal six-axis robot pays off in 7-12 months, the manufacturer says.

The line for the production of new cantilever-portal robots is designed for the production of thousands of pieces per year. Production is built on the principle of "robots make robots," which ensures high automation of the process.

The production of key components of the new robots is completely robotic. This also applies to gearboxes - the most important elements of robotic systems that determine their accuracy and reliability.^[1]
