Teradata IntelliSphere

Teradata IntelliSphere is a portfolio of software products for use of all basic software tools by the companies necessary for data acquisition, access to them, deployment and management of an analytical ecosystem. It is provided on October 25, 2017.

With the solution IntelliSphere the companies do not have need to buy separate software applications for creation of own ecosystem and management of it.

Features

• Data acquisition: using IntelliSphere of the company can receive and distribute without effort large volumes of data, using opportunities of architecture, scalable and ready to use, and quick access to a business intelligence.
• Data access: the companies get free access to data, regardless of the place of their storage even if they are stored in a hybrid cloud or the diverse technology environment.
• Deployment: deployment of applications and analytical models for providing to users free access and ensuring interaction in the organization.
• Management: software products of management provide data movement on demand and also the current monitoring and control by means of use of the operational interface.

Components

As of October 25, 2017, Teradata IntelliSphere includes 10 program components, namely:

• Teradata Listener is a product of expansion of opportunities of "the lake of data" Hadoop and at the same time the analytics tool.
• Teradata Data Lab is the solution for identification of trends and receiving analytical assessment by combination of the existing and new data.
• Teradata QueryGrid is a product of expansion of opportunities of "the lake of data" Hadoop and at the same time the analytics tool.
• Teradata Unity is the application for maintenance of high availability of users and distribution of workload.
• Teradata Hybrid Cloud Manager is the solution for seamless movement of workloads from local infrastructure in public clouds (it will be available at the end of 2017)
• Teradata Data Mover is a product for automation, control and monitoring of process of data movement.
• Multi-system Viewpoint is the solution for monitoring of performance and work of heterogeneous set of platforms of data processing.
• Teradata Data Stream Extension is the solution providing a possibility of backup and data recovery with means of third-party solutions of the corporate level.
• Teradata Ecosystem Manager is the product providing the organization of processes for management of transformation of key data and task allocation.
• Teradata AppCenter is the solution for placement, execution and delivery of analytical applications in the organizations in which data access is provided with means of a broad spectrum of solutions — both productions Teradata, and third-party.^[1]

The set of IntelliSphere will be replenished with new products in process of their entry into the market, at the same time clients will be able to get access to the new products Teradata within the purchased service packages.

Availability

The solution IntelliSphere is already available to the order. According to Teradata, the portfolio of software products of IntelliSphere will be complemented with professional services to simplify implementation process.
