Tionix VDI 2.9 with SPICE Remote Access Protocol support

The manufacturer of software products for the provision of cloud services "TIONIX" on February 17, 2021 announced the release of the next version of the TIONIX VDI module for organizing virtual desktops. The developers accelerated the process of transmitting audio and video data between the cloud platform and the user's desktop, as well as added a number of functions to the user interface TIONIX VDI Client.

The main innovation of TIONIX VDI 2.9 was the support of the remote access protocol SPICE, which allows you to optimize your work with audiovisual information in the cloud. Video or audio streaming becomes less resource intensive by using various compression and optimization algorithms to communicate between terminal servers and user virtual desktops. Each client session is authenticated on a VDI broker, and the transmitted data stream is encrypted.
