Over the past month, Croke has received requests for digital technologies for remote work as much as we usually receive in half a year. In particular, the demand for: ensuring information security (VPN-networks, WAF, PAM and EMM systems), creation of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), implementation of robotization and automation of business processes (RPA and BPM), remote electronic document management systems, cloud services (IaaS, PaaS), providing employee communications (VKS from the cloud) and consulting on assessing the company's readiness for remote access, "said Igor Bonev, director of business development at the IT department of Krok.

According to Valentin Gubarev, Director of the Krok Computing Systems Department, the company's portfolio has more than twenty different solutions for remote work. They can close all requirements regardless of the size or market specifics of the customer.

For convenience, these services are grouped by task and installation time - from 1 day to several weeks. The company "Jet Infosystems" notes an increase in the number of requests for the creation of virtual desktops. Compared to the same period in 2019, this figure increased 15 times. Some of them have already switched to real contracts. In total, the company's specialists transferred more than 40 thousand employees of various organizations to VDI technologies.

According to Dmitry Galkin, head of VDI at Jet Infosystems, classic VDI is the most advanced remote solution. Companies that have already implemented it at home, now have a new assessment of the correctly chosen IT strategy, almost painlessly and as soon as possible transferring employees to a remote location.

At the same time, he notes that the basic scenario is the use of remote access through VPN. When built correctly, it securely protects against external threats, such as unauthorized access to the corporate network.

It is worth fearing internal threats: employees have full access to the corporate network from any device, and they can save data on their personal laptop and freely manage it. A solution is needed that extends the perimeter of the company to user workplaces, wherever they are. At a minimum, you need a "roundup" of user sessions on their stationary corporate PCs.
