2025: Digitization of more than 62,000 pages of documents

ELAR completed the next stage of digitalization of the municipal archives of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, creating electronic copies of more than 62,000 pages of archival documents and uploading them to the state information system "Electronic Archive of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug." Elar announced this on August 27, 2025.

ELAR's cooperation with the district began in 2012, when the first projects were implemented to create an information resource based on electronic copies of documents of permanent shelf life. For August 2025, work continues: in 2024-2025, the company continues to contribute to the expansion of the electronic fund of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The digitization of archival documents was carried out on professional scanners designed for careful and safe scanning of any type of documents - from stitched files to large-format and film media. The production cycle included checking and preparing documents, scanning, processing and indexing images, as well as loading the array into the state system.

2013: Work on the development of a single information and search engine of the electronic archive using Elar PlanScan

On December 10, 2013, ELAR Corporation announced a project to create a single information and search engine for an electronic archive.

Project objectives

ELAR Corporation began work on the creation of an information and search system for the Archives Service of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2011, as part of the implementation of the activities of the Departmental Target Program "Documentary Heritage of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (2011-2013)." The main goal of the project is to increase the efficiency of the processes of the main activities of the state and municipal archives, as well as the transition to the provision of archival services in electronic form.

Project progress

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, work continues on the development of a single information and search engine for an electronic archive. ELAR Corporation has delivered five planetary scanning complexes to the archival departments of the administrations of municipal districts of the region.

ELAR Corporation has equipped the archival departments of the administrations of Krasnoselkupsky, Purovsky, Tazovsky, Shuryshkarsky and Yamal districts of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug with Elar PlanScan planetary scanners of the "S" series. The equipment is to be used to create an electronic fund for the use and include the municipal archives of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in the contour of a single information and search engine in the region.

2012: Results of an open competition for the creation and filling of a single information and search engine of the electronic archive

On July 18, 2012, the Archives Service of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug summed up the results of an open competition for the creation and filling of a single information and search engine for an electronic archive. The winner was ELAR Corporation.
