The client of the Moscow Regional Unified Information and Settlement Center (MosOblEIRC) conducted an operation in digital rubles and paid for a certificate of no debt on the personal account.

For payment, a software and hardware complex supplied to MosOblEIRC by LANTER was used. The client made payment using a universal payment QR code.

Payments were made directly at the office of MosOblEIRC, which made it possible to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness and simplicity of settlements in the digital form of the national currency.

The use of the digital ruble will reduce transaction processing costs, increase transaction security and ensure user convenience. In the near future, a service to support the digital ruble will be available in all branches of the company, said Andrey Akulov, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of the Moscow Regional Unified Information and Settlement Center.

Transactions posted should be the basis for expanding the possibilities of electronic payments in the future.
