2020: Agreement in the field of digital transformation of state regulation
and Government of Perm Territory the State Corporation Rostec signed an agreement in the field of digital transformation of state regulation and socially significant sectors of economies the region. Rostec announced this on December 1, 2020. The Corporation will provide methodological and expert support to Prikamyu at the stage of pre-designing the future IT landscape and building target market models. This will allow the region to also increase the number of IT specialists by 2024.
Rostec on a non-commercial basis will assess the "digital maturity" of the Perm Territory, help to most accurately formulate the task and propose solutions at all stages of the project, accompanying it from the very first stages to the moment of commissioning. The cooperation involves the use of Rostec.digital tools - the digital direction of Rostec State Corporation, designed to carry out digital transformation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and certain sectors of the economy.
Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin stressed that as of December 2020, the region is interested in digital transformation and the further development of the IT sector.
For digitalization, the future. We will maintain the momentum: we set ourselves ambitious goals to get into the TOP-10 regions for development in the IT sector. We plan to increase the number of employees in this industry - up to 22,000. Thanks to digitalization, we will be able to solve acute social issues by connecting our infrastructure to the Internet. We are considering the possibility of implementing some projects in the field of IT within the framework of public-private partnership, "said Dmitry Makhonin. |
At the beginning of December 2020, more than 1,700 IT companies operate in the Perm Territory, the total number of IT specialists of which is 16,000 people.
The implementation of the agreement involves the development of information systems in socially significant sectors of the economy of the Perm Territory: housing and communal services, transport, education and others. Cooperation in the format of public-private partnership will significantly reduce the time and financial costs for digital business at the entrance to the market and the regional government, solving state problems in the field of digital transformation. The introduction of PPP mechanisms will be an incentive to the emergence of private digital services and services that will improve the quality of life of residents of the region, "said Rostec Rachik Petrosyan, Director of Digital Transformation of the State Corporation. |
