The government of Karachay-Cherkessia and the developer of "R7-Office" agreed on cooperation

2021: Agreement on Cooperation in Digital Transformation of Education Industry and Government Agencies

The government of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic has concluded a cooperation agreement with the developer of the Russian office package P7-Office. This was announced on August 30, 2021 in the company "New Communication Technologies."

The document is aimed at fulfilling the federal task of digital transformation of the educational industry and government agencies, which was set by the President of Russia as part of the implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation." Under the terms of the agreement, the developer will closely cooperate with the regional authorities in the field of digitalization of the region, import substitution of software and in other areas, and will also transfer 49 thousand licenses for the R7-Office office platform to educational institutions for free.

As part of the provision of domestic software, users will have access to a fully functional and compatible package of office programs with all popular formats, including editors of text documents, tables and presentations, image and video viewers, a collaboration platform, as well as an organizer with a calendar and a mail client.
