2023: Transition to 1C:ERP Enterprise Management

The management of Aggreko Eurasia has the need to forcibly abandon the current foreign ERP of the Ministry of Health Infor system. Until April 2022, RAS/NA and IFRS were conducted in parallel in different systems: RAS/NA in 1C: Accounting, and operational accounting of IFRS in the MZ Infor system. Aggreko Eurasia has chosen the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system as a promising solution for automating operational, management and IFRS accounting.

To solve the problems of to import substitution and transition to: 1CERP Enterprise management in April 2022, the company was invited. In RDV June 2022, RDV experts analyzed business processes the company and proposed a methodology for switching to a new ERP system.

During the project, RDV specialists performed the following works:

  • We modeled accounting business processes, prepared business process diagrams and design solutions, identified functional gaps by blocks:
    • NSI;
    • Procurement and procurement;
    • Warehouse;
    • Equipment accounting and service works;
    • Sales;
    • Management reporting;
    • Cost and cost accounting;
    • Treasury.

  • Process changes were proposed to minimize functional gaps. We comprehensively approached the organization of operational and managerial accounting processes. They proposed options for the convergence of accounting policies and the organization of data integration for regulated accounting with 1C: Accounting Department of the KORP enterprise.
  • The functional gaps were resolved based on the results of modeling:

    • Repairs - accounting of operating time, accounting of repair executors was implemented, analytics on current and major repairs was introduced;
    • Procurement - price and quantity deviation controls have been added, analytical accounting of purchased works/services by areas of activity and subdivisions has been expanded;
    • Warehouse - the warehouse structure has been changed to further automate the reservation of goods for projects, the inventory of goods by warehouse group has been implemented.

  • The architecture of system integrations is designed and implemented:

    • Integration with 1C system has been improved: Document flow for counterparties and contracts;
    • Integration with the 1C system was developed: Accounting Department of the KOP enterprise for materials accounting, reconciliation reports between systems and transfer of accounting accounts from ERP to BP were implemented;
    • Audit of BP information security and exchange between ERP and BP was carried out;
    • A reconciliation process has been prepared and started for the document "Purchase Order" in 1C: Document Flow Through email.
    • The rights of users are delimited in accordance with the Customer's requirements;
    • Operational accounting of materials and repairs in ERP was prepared and launched:
    • * Data has been corrected;
    • * Set up reference book mappings for exchange between systems;
    • * User training conducted;
    • * User instructions based on design solutions have been prepared;
    • * Processes tested at Preprod databases;
    • * The system was started and 3 lines of user support were provided as per SLA.

The results of the introduction of additional subsystems "1C:ERP Enterprise Management" allowed Aggreco Eurasia to achieve the following results:

  • Abandon the foreign solution of the Ministry of Health Infor and switch to Russian software 1C:ERP Enterprise Management;
  • Launch operational and management accounting processes in the new ERP system;
  • Expand the tools for managing purchases, repairs, warehouse processes and sales of goods;
  • Build control functions for purchasing processes and warehouse operations;
  • Expand analytical accounting for detailed analysis of expenses for the company's projects;
  • Start the procurement reconciliation process in integration with the 1S:DO;
  • Organize automatic exchange 1C:ERP Enterprise management with the basis of regulated accounting 1C: Accounting Department of KORP enterprise.

In January 2023, a comprehensive launch of the Enterprise Management 1C:ERP took place, and in early April 2023 the system was put into commercial operation. At the moment, the implementation has been successfully completed, 50 jobs have been automated.
