Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev modernizes warehouse logistics together with AXELOT. The implemented AXELOT WMS monitors the work of warehouse personnel, ensures the accuracy of weight control of the goods and reduces the impact of the human factor.
JSC Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev is one of the agricultural holdings in Russia. The history of the enterprise began in 1993 with the merger of a cattle feeding complex and a feed mill.
Modernization of production, improvement of product quality, improvement of customer service, expansion of the sphere of activity - to achieve these goals "Agrocomplex" named after N.I. Tkacheva constantly invests in the development and introduces technologies to optimize processes. Thus, in order to improve the efficiency of warehouse logistics, the agricultural complex, in cooperation with AXELOT, began the automation of the warehouse. AXELOT WMS was chosen as the software solution.
With the help of warehouse automation, the management of Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkacheva plans to obtain a tool that will allow you to effectively manage the work of the warehouse, personnel, minimize errors in operations, including those caused by the influence of the human factor.
Warehouse "Agrocomplex" named after N.I. Tkachev is located in the Krasnodar Territory. The warehouse is divided into zones by commodity groups. During the discussion with the customer, it was decided to implement the system in stages - in accordance with the product areas in order to minimize the impact on the performance of the warehouse as a whole. The project began with the automation of the Grocery zone, and after the launch of the first stage, you can evaluate the results of the work.
Grocery area personnel were able to perform all operations using data collection terminals. AXELOT WMS plans all transactions with the item from receipt to shipment, monitors the start and end of the transaction and records who is responsible for the execution of each. The information recorded by the system will make it possible to develop a balanced incentive system based on piece pay, which will be implemented as part of the development of AXELOT WMS.
AXELOT WMS was integrated with weighing equipment, which made it possible to implement the functionality of "Weight Control." The planned and actual weights are compared during the goods receipt and shipment. You have set a range beyond which is the reason to perform additional item control.
Within the framework of the project, it was necessary to solve the integration problem in such a way that not only directories and documents, but also information on current balances prepared for reconciliation, participated in the exchange with the corporate information system. The project team used DATAREON ESB to configure file sharing between AXELOT WMS and the enterprise information system.
The flexibility of AXELOT WMS allowed the project team to customize the system taking into account all the customer's wishes that arose during the project and achieve the set goals in the automated warehouse area.
Now AXELOT and Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev analyze the results of automation of the allocated Grocery zone and plan to replicate the AXELOT WMS solution to the remaining warehouse zones.
