2022: Results of Equio platform implementation
At ECCO, 2,000 sellers from different countries were trained on the Equio platform. Equio (e.Queo) announced this on May 30, 2022.
A year ago, the ECCO shoe store chain moved its training courses to the Equio distance learning platform. During this time, attendance increased 3.5 times.
Before moving to Equio, ECCO in Russia used the Mirapolis system for eight years. During this time, the main requirements for the LMS platform were formulated. ECCO needed a training system that works in mobile phones. Since shops are not offices, and they can have one computer for 15 people. Training sellers with it is quite difficult. Plus, it was important for ECCO to have a friendly interface. In the previous platform, such opportunities were not enough.
In addition to training opportunities, we need tools for publishing news, "said Ilya Paraga, head of e-learning at ECCO. - We cannot make direct mailings because most sellers do not have corporate mail. Previously, I had to send a letter to the director asking him to transmit information to employees. In 2021, we began to look for a solution that will work from mobile phones and close the tasks of training and communication with employees. We studied several platforms and settled on Equio, since its functionality completely closed our needs. |
Equio has a convenient mobile application, the functionality of which completely repeats the functionality of the web version, "explained Alexey Vagin, founder and CEO of Equio. - ECCO management and employees liked the ease of working with the service, since on the previous platform the administrator had to put a lot of effort into the simplest actions. They tested the functionality and were satisfied with it, after which they quickly and without problems transferred the training content to the platform and started working. " |
ECCO uses most of the main modules included in the basic functionality of the Equio platform: training employees, motivation with the help of bonuses and the Gift Store, importing the results of KPI sellers, calendar, "Tasks" for practical work in stores.
Training at ECCO takes place in three formats: face-to-face training, in-store training and distance classes. To do this, the company created the ECCO Club with offline coaches and online training specialists. Online, employees study new shoe collections, available products, and learn sales skills. In the spring of 2022, content was added to the ECCO training program to increase employee stress tolerance and a course on working with customers in stress. There is also an introductory online training, which lasts 3 months, and a number of courses for management positions. ECCO specialists independently create courses in the SCORM format, longrides, videos, short methods with scripts. Using the Equio platform, courses are delivered to employees.
ECCO also actively uses a system of awards that the store director gives out for motivation. Employees exchange the earned points for gifts in the Bonus Market. Even in ECCO, the functionality of Corporate bases Knowledge is used. It transferred educational content and internal documents that were previously stored on the corporate portal. The HR department sends settlement sheets for employees through the knowledge base. In the future, the company plans to use Equio as a catalog of goods.
ECCO tracks several key indicators of online training: how often people enter the platform, what percentage of employees join optional courses and how user activity changes. Data show that after the introduction of Equio, the attendance of ECCO Club online increased 3.5 times, and the number of people who completed the course before the end increased 2 times.
The reason is the presence of a simple and convenient application with which employees can access the training platform from mobile phones. Thanks to the simple interface, it is easy to understand. And the system of bonuses and ratings helps motivate workers to take courses and perform tasks.
In 2022, ECCO continues to collaborate with Equio and fill the platform with useful content. The plans are to develop the direction of mixed training.
