The update of CAD technologies became the urgent need for Elektroshchit Group

The Electric Board — TM Samara group updated an automated design engineering system of KOMPAS in all workplaces of designers to the new version. More than 300 licenses of the KOMPAS-3D systems and Compas-Grafik V13 came to engineering divisions of the enterprises of Group. Delivery of the software was performed by ASCON-Samara company (IT-Consult Group), the company reported on October 22, 2012.

Objectives

The chief designer of Elektroshchit — TM Samara Group Alexander Rafikov noted: "We work with the COMPASS system since 1996. This reliable, qualitative and available software. The last large-scale update of a system was executed at the enterprise in 2008 Naturally, from now on systems capabilities significantly increased. Need to update all available COMPASS versions to modern, the thirteenth ripened. It will allow to increase labor productivity of designers, to exclude problems with information exchange".
