2021: A step towards digital transformation at Grain Holding using "1C:CRM. Module for 1C:ERP and 1S:KA2 "

About Customer and Project

Grain Holding Group is an FMCG company that produces bakery products and flour. The company supplies flour to most enterprises of the Central Federal District - manufacturers of bread and bakery products, chips, confectionery, instant food and other manufacturers of consumer goods and large retail chains. Including their own products are used by four bakeries in Moscow, the Moscow region, Ryazan and Kostroma.

Today, Grain Holding supplies over 100 SKUs to its customers at more than 20,000 delivery addresses. Every day, the company receives over 8 thousand orders for the supply of bread and flour from the country's largest food chains, small regional companies and private enterprises.

The dynamic development of the company on the one hand, and the highly competitive market on the other, require Grain Holding to promptly and sensitively respond to many factors of the external environment and internal processes:

  • Fluctuation in prices for raw materials - an exchange commodity requires a prompt analysis of the raw material cost of products;
  • The presence of a large number of offers on the bakery market, frequent promotions of retail chains require flexible management of the margin of the finished product for prompt decision-making;
  • Management of the holding's processes requires operational control of the Ordered - Shipped chain, as well as dynamic monitoring of dashboards at key process locations for loss management;
  • Flexible work with counterparties, management of customer experience and control over work with the most important customers of the company require a program for managing customer relations.

The decision to switch to the 1C: Corporation ERP system from 1C was made in the face of the need to use third-party BI-level software and compare data from seven different databases with different structures and regulatory reference information. An additional reason was the information on the completion of support for the software product "1C: Production Enterprise Management 8" version 1.3, on the basis of which the holding's information technologies were built.

To implement the project, the 1C-RARUS company was chosen as a comprehensive system integrator capable of solving most functional problems on the principle of "one window."

Together with the efforts of experts from 1S-RARUS and Grain Holding, the architecture of the holding's ERP system was developed as part of the following documents:

  • Register of business requirements for automation with assigned priorities;
  • Functional and integration architecture of the holding system;
  • Description of the content of the project program with project passports;
  • Roadmap of the project program, taking into account the chosen implementation strategy.

The specialists of "1S-RARUS" have completed a project for the implementation of "1C:CRM. Module for 1C:ERP and 1C: КА2. "

1S-RARUS specialists provide support services for all information systems; currently, IP support is transferred to the internal competence center.

Date of putting the system into commercial operation 01.05.2021 250 workplaces were automated.

Grain Holding has received a new automation tool, embarking on the path of business digitalization. The best practices collected from four sites were used:

  • A unified catalog of customers and delivery points has been formed;
  • Tightened control over payment terms by the company's customers;
  • Reports "Ordered - Shipped" are generated promptly, taking into account returns, draws, customer adjustments;
  • A platform has been created to form a single report on the margin and cost of production;
  • Losses are controlled: they can be analyzed both in shipments and in production;
  • It is possible to introduce traceability of goods from the purchase of raw materials to the shipment of goods.

Work on the project program continues.
