2023: Implementation of ASCON solutions begins

MedIntell LLC (a member of the Biomedical Cluster of the Penza Region "BIOMED") has begun introducing digital solutions of ASCON to increase the efficiency of design and technological support for the development and production of medical devices in the MedInzh group of companies. The project is being implemented with grant support from the Innovation Assistance Fund under the Digitalization-CT program. ASCON announced this on September 14, 2023.

The company plans to accelerate the development and launch of products through the use of PLM a complex that includes an engineering data management system, PILOT: PLM CAD technological processes VERTICAL and a regulatory reference information management system. Polynomial: MDM The implementation partner is the Regional ASCON Volga region Center.

In the MedInzh group of companies, MedIntell LLC is responsible for the development of design documentation for innovative medical devices and technological processes for their manufacture. Over the past year, the MedIng group of companies has tripled its production space and increased its nomenclature to replace imported products for cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and other types of high-tech medical care.

The need to cope with the increased volume of work on the management of technical documentation led MedIntell LLC to decide on the introduction of a comprehensive information system for production preparation. As priority tasks, the filling of specialized directories by POLYNOM: MDM and the organization of an electronic archive of documentation in PILOT: PLM are identified.

The choice in favor of ASCON was made based on the positive experience of using the KOMPAS-3D design system. Creating an accurate electronic model and calculating the parameters of the future product in APM FEM and KompasFlow applications will allow you to produce fewer experimental samples and see optimization paths in advance.

Thanks to the tight integration of PLM and CAD tools from one developer, the project takes into account the interests of all engineering departments involved in the preparation of production.
