"Polynomial: MDM " is a solution that allows you to manage the regulatory reference information of an industrial enterprise using unified tools, approaches and methods for working with data.
2024: Astra Linux Special Edition Compatibility
Astra Group and ASCON have confirmed the compatibility of the POLINOM industrial enterprise regulatory reference information management system: MDM (server part and web client) and the Astra Linux operating system. Within the framework of the Ready for Astra technology partnership program, tests of the correct operation of IT solutions were successfully carried out, which officially confirms the certificate issued by the vendor. ASCON announced this on October 29, 2024.
POLYNOM: MDM offers users a wide range of opportunities to optimize their work with regulatory reference information, including data management, process automation, distributed work and full reference books in the delivery. Compatibility with Astra Linux will allow users to significantly improve their work efficiency, as well as increase the level of compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation.
The integration of the two software products will allow you to optimize workflows and support specific data management tasks, as well as enable the use of high-performance hardware.
We have ASCON long-standing partnership with the company. Since our companies are faced with the task of ensuring the compatibility of infrastructure and engineering products, interaction is strategic, both at the commercial and technical levels, with an agreed roadmap for work. One of the long-awaited results was integration with the [1], "said Kirill Sinkov, director of the department for work with technological partners of Astra Group. - We are confident that this cooperation will be an important step towards the introduction of domestic technologies at enterprises and will help our customers in ensuring the necessary level of information security. |
The issue of critical and simply necessary technologies is especially important. Interest in domestic platform solutions is growing, we note quite objective tasks and deadlines for the transition to domestic operating systems. Ready for Astra allows users to navigate a large range of software, choose the optimal compatible solutions within a single ecosystem. Therefore, certification by POLINOM: MDM, the next component of the domestic PLM solution, is another joint and necessary step towards technological sovereignty, said Aleksandr Lichman, Marketing Director of PLM at ASCON. |
2022: Release of version 22
On January 19, 2022, ASCON announced the release of version 22 of the PILOT systems: PLM, POLYNOM: MDM , VERTICAL and technological applications, which, together with the KOMPAS-3D v20 design system, make up the ASCON software package for product design and lifecycle management in mechanical engineering (PLM complex). "Polynomial: MDM" 2018.2
On July 17, 2020, the company ASCON announced the release of updated versions of the systems, PILOT: PLM POLYNOM: MDM and, VERTICAL which together design system KOMPAS-3D make up the ASCON software package for. The mechanical engineering release 2018.2 takes into account the current tasks of digitalization of industries defensive and industrial and civil sectors: industries end-to-end use of a single electronic product structure, support for various technological platforms,. All integration enterprise IT systems improvements were made within the framework of the machine-building strategy of the ASCON to create a PLM heavy class complex.
According to the developer, POLYNOM: MDM in the updated version supports work with Oracle DBMS along with MS SQL, Postgre SQL and Postgres Pro. A specialized catalog "Recipes" has been added, which contains the composition and components of self-made materials. The catalog is used in the development of technological processes for such materials in VERTICAL.
This data , MS Excel according to the developer, will simplify the work of geographically distributed enterprises and make it possible to form an actual one at remote sites. regulatory background information Given the ability to download data from PILOT: PLM, it will become easier to work with product catalogs of the enterprise, create master guides.
According to the developer, additional tools and capabilities for designers have appeared:
- The POLYNOM: MDM Materials and Assortments command bar for working with objects directly from the CAD system has been added to the KOMPAS-3D.
- It is possible to disable the "Cut in sections" function for the specified object (standard product), when there is an appropriate ESKD requirement for design documentation.
- You can import color and optical properties into the material parameters KOMPAS-3D of a standard product for realistic display and detailed model study.
As noted in ASCON, the number of "external" integrations of POLYNOMES: MDM is growing. The release 2018.2 supports the export of 3D models in STEP AP203, VRML, ACIS, Parasolid, IGES, STL formats. Direct integration with the domestic solution for managing the regulatory documentation of Tekhexpert has been made.
Polynomial: MDM Capabilities
For March 2020, among the possibilities of "Pauline: MDM":
- Manage a wide range of regulatory reference information within a single software platform
- Universal Data Model
- Context representation of NSI objects
- Smart and fast search engine
- Data Quality Control
- Access Rights Management
- Importing Data
The system provides uniform tools and approaches to work with any reference books, classifiers, standards and other regulatory reference information that are used in the enterprise. The user does not need to work with data using different applications. In Polynomial: MDM, all this is provided within a single software platform.
