The beginning of work of the dialysis center Fresenius Medical Care in Azov
In Azov the center of an out-patient hemodialysis which added network of the dialysis centers of the German Fresenius Medical Care in the Rostov region opened, reports management of information policy of the government of the region. Here specified that the Azov center was waited by three years. It became known on September 26, 2020.
Object meets the most strict standards of modern medical institution. The center is equipped with the devices "artificial kidney" and is ready to accept to 60 patients. In the center there are clothes, lockers, a sanitary zone, a zone for acceptance of food and rest of patients.
This center completely closes need of dialysis places for the Azov district — the head of the regional Ministry of Health Tatyana Bykovskaya is sure. |
Start of this center — the next stage in development to Dona the international network Fresenius Medical Care. Projects of the German company are implemented on the terms of public-private partnership. Taking into account the opened object in the region the company starts nine centers of a hemodialysis. On their base more than 640 patients receive the specialized help.
Fresenius invested about 1 billion rubles in the Don economy and the social sphere, 10% of all dialysis centers opened by the company in Russia work for us in the region — the CEO of the Agency of investment development of the Rostov region Igor Burakov noted [1]. |
The beginning of work of the dialysis center Fresenius Medical Care in Aksay
On July 9, 2020 Zdrav.Expert became known that in Aksay the dialysis center of the German company Fresenius Medical Care opened. The Agency of investment development of the Rostov region specified (AIR) that "The hemodialysis center Rostov" became for July, 2020 to Dona the eighth object of the international network. Based on the Don hemodialysis centers the specialized help is received for July, 2020 by more than 630 patients with a chronic renal failure.
By data AIR, the agreement on opening in the region of dialysis clinics the governor Vasily Golubev signed with the management of Fresenius in July, 2019. The project was included in the list priority as known as "governor's one hundred".
Investments into the specified dialysis center in Aksay made about 105 million rubles, – the CEO of AIR Igor Burakov says. – In the long term Fresenius can increase the volume of investments in the Don network – to invest in addition in equipping and development of the centers. For the beginning of July, 2020 at a creation stage in the Rostov region at the company one more object – the center of dialysis in Azov which is going to be discovered until the end of 2020. |
The dialysis center in Aksay is equipped with twenty devices "artificial kidney" and is ready to accept to 120 patients a week. In this center doctors-nephrologists and dialysis sisters work. In addition to a hemodialysis, it is going to carry out procedures of peritoneal dialysis also here.
According to the management of Fresenius Medical Care, opening of the center of an out-patient hemodialysis in the Aksay district will have a positive impact on quality and life expectancy of nephrological patients of the region. In addition to residents of the Aksay district, in the center are ready to help patients and from other municipalities[2].
The beginning of work of the dialysis center Fresenius Medical Care in Salsk
On May 13, 2020 Zdrav.Expert became known that in Salsk of the Rostov region the long-awaited event for people with a chronic renal failure took place. For the purpose of increase in availability of medical care the dialysis center Fresenius Medical Care for Promyshlennaya Street, 2 began to work. Due to the situation on a coronavirus it functions with observance of all sanitary and epidemiologic regulations. In the first day a job treatment was got by 21 patients. Read more here.
2019: The agreement on construction of three dialysis centers in Azov, Aksay and Salsk for 430 million rubles.
On July 8, 2019 it became known that the CEO of Frezenius Nefrokea company Alexey Smirnov and the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev signed the agreement on construction of the dialysis centers in three cities of the region. The project investment cost will make 430 million rubles.
According to the signed document, in 2019-2020 the company is going to open three dialysis centers in the Rostov region: in Azov, Aksay and Salsk. Due to opening of the centers more than 100 jobs will be created.
The Frezenius Nefrokea company, according to Vasily Golubev, already opened six dialysis centers in the Rostov region.

Frezenius Nefrokea belongs to the German company Fresenius Medical Care and enters into Fresenius holding. By data the SPARK-Interfax, the Russian branch registered in 2005 in Moscow in 2017 gained more than 2.6 billion rubles. At the same time the company could not reach profit, net loss made more than 256 million rubles[3].
2018: Opening of the dialysis center Fresenius in Volgodonsk
On September 5, 2018 in Volgodonsk of the Rostov region the dialysis center Fresenius opened. Its construction became possible thanks to the Ministry of Health of area and also active support of the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev and the head of administration of Volgodonsk Victor Melnikov. Investments into this project exceeded 150 million rubles, from them 40 million went for equipping of the dialysis center.
"The hemodialysis center Rostov" earned in Volgodonsk to the address Karl Marx Street, 12B, and became the second such object in the city opened thanks to participation of Fresenius Medical Care company. The operating center is located in the building of "City hospital of emergency medical service" of Volgodonsk and functions since 2013, monthly accepting about 62 patients.
The newly opened center on Karl Marx Street is equipped with 27 modern devices "artificial kidney" and designed to cover partially the shortage of dialysis places in the city: the center is ready to accept to 160 patients a month and, thus, will help to lower load of already working center. In medical institution there will be a planned out-patient help to patients with a chronic renal failure. In the future, in addition to a hemodialysis, also holding a procedure of peritoneal dialysis is planned.[4]
Our dialysis center in Volgodonsk is the 63rd center in the Russian Federation, investments into health sector were the purpose of this project. We are glad that we managed to solve partially creation of this center a problem of shortage of dialysis places in the region and to actually return our about 20 patients who were by force treated in Rostov, in Taganrog to the place of full-time residence. People from St. Petersburg, Stavropol returned to us, one person arrived from Moscow — the CEO of Fresenius NephroCare company in Russia Alexey Smirnov told. |
According to the head of NephroCare in Russia, the modern equipment for hemodialysis therapy which equips the center was delivered by Fresenius Medical Care company. An object is equipped on the European quality standards for similar clinics. For September 5 treatment in the center there undergo about 88 patients, they are helped by skilled staff.
We work only in the compulsory health insurance system, all procedures for patients are performed free of charge, paid for the policy — Alexey Smirnov added.[5] |
