The center houses a genetic laboratory and an express laboratory for clinical research, a remote advisory center, a medical and genetic consultation, a central sterilization department, administrative and technical premises of the building and a conference room with a lobby for 200 seats. It is assumed that every day the center staff will be able to provide the necessary medical care up to 15 babies.

Rostec structures have supplied equipment that allows for highly qualified medical care, including intensive therapy and nursing of children with extremely low body weight (from 500 grams) and congenital pathologies. Among other things, multifunctional inhalation anesthesia devices, breathing support devices for newborns, artificial lung ventilation devices, synchronized defibrillators-monitors, neonatal tables, neonatal phototherapy irradiators and heaters for newborns manufactured at the enterprises of the Schwabe holding were brought to the perinatal center in Orenburg.

About 2.5 billion rubles were spent on the creation of a new medical institution. The amount of savings during the construction and equipment of the center amounted to 195.5 million rubles. These funds will go to the purchase of equipment not provided for by the project, such as fluorographs, reanimobiles and sets of surgical instruments.

The opening of the perinatal center in Orenburg was attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova and Deputy General Director of Rostec Nikolai Volobuev.
