2021: Implementation of QR coding technology for refrigeration accounting

On August 25, 2021, Gandalf announced the introduction of QR coding technology for accounting for refrigeration equipment of the Russian Cold group of companies.

The Russian Cold Group of Companies is two enterprises in Moscow and Barnaul. The range of ice cream has 140 species. The company independently delivers products to 90% of stores using specialized equipment, warehouse and freezer terminals, and its own fleets. Sales and quality control is provided by a developed system of distributors - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.

For work, sales representatives of Russian Cold Group of Companies use the 1C: Orders mobile configuration developed on the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform. The application has already been revised to suit the specifics of the company and the synchronization of work with "1C: ERP Enterprise Management." The increase in the logistics base required the introduction of automated accounting and monitoring of the movement of equipment established under the lease agreement. The management of the Group of Companies turned to Gandalf for the introduction of QR coding technology and the expansion of the functionality of the mobile application.

The improvements opened up the possibility to conduct accounting and transfer of refrigeration equipment using a mobile application and QR codes. A 2D label already contains a reference to object information. Coding and scanning equipment through the phone reduced the time to complete documents and simplified control.

The development made it possible to create applications for equipment operations in the mobile application, and on their basis to form standard documents in ERP.

The realized opportunities improved control over the activities of sales representatives of the Russian Cold Group of Companies at tenant points. Workable and user-friendly functionality accelerated the process of accounting, movement and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
