On September 18, 2019 the company Elar reported that in St. Petersburg state institute of culture it is delivered scanner ELAR for replenishment of a digital library of university by rare materials.

The St. Petersburg state institute of culture - the oldest and largest university of culture of Russia. Modern information technologies are actively involved in educational process, in particular, the institute cooperates with libraries and the museums of St. Petersburg, such information resources as the virtual museum, the automated library information system form. The planetary scanner, the first for university, delivered by ELAR corporation will serve transfer of library stocks of organization to an electronic form.
