2019: Placement of 190 EXT sensors
The SIBUR continues to release and use at the enterprises the equipment of industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) of own development which replaces routine work of employees and does dangerous zones of the enterprises by the most deserted. The holding reported about it on April 21, 2020.
In 2019 on production of pyrolysis of ZapSibNeftekhim, large petroleum chemical plant in Russia, the company placed 190 sensors of temperature monitoring of heat tracers, ExT.
Heat tracers are feed systems of steam on nodes of installations which need to be heated. The EXT sensor was announced in October, 2019 during the visit Dmitry of Medvedev in the corporate center of the SIBUR. Then, to check operation of the sensor, it was heated, and a system reacted with a characteristic signal. Now the pilot lot of sensors successfully fulfilled all winter period in the low temperatures characteristic of the Tyumen region.
Earlier temperature in pipes was taken by employees of production manually on regular bypasses. Now information on a status of heat tracers regularly comes to operator from sensors of industrial Internet of Things that allows to refuse thousands of man-hours spent for regular checks. The complex ZapSibNeftekhim was designed with a high share of automation and one of the highest labor productivity levels in the world among productions of basic polymers. The industrial Internet of Things integrated with production systems and predictive models – one of instruments of digital transformation which allows to automate manual routine work and to accumulate data for acceptance of the most effective and operational solutions and implementation of the concept of data driven.
It works as notifications in OutLook, for example. When the sensor transfers information to a system, we see in the interface the event list with the different level of criticality: too high temperature, the battery sits down – and so far the operator will not react, the event will remain "unread" and the signal will sound. At a standard mode of operation of the sensor of the battery lasts for 5 years. Sensors are specially developed for temperature monitoring of units in severe climatic conditions at the enterprises of a petrochemical segment. Indications temperatures taken by the portable sensor of a different form are transferred under the LoRaWAN protocol. After start-up of production of pyrolysis of ZapSibNeftekhim in summer of 2019 an object acquired the status of a zone of the increased danger. Therefore the sensors placed on heat tracers have necessary explosion protection in these conditions, i.e. cannot become a spark source, maintain temperature in the range from-56 to +50 C0 that is important for the equipment which is on open installations. The IIoT-equipment of the SIBUR has the appropriate certificate of explosion protection and resistance to low temperatures. At the same time sensors can take equipment temperature in the range from-55 of +125 C0. The special version of the sensor of temperature monitoring and vibration which is already developed and tested by the SIBUR will be used to control of hotter units and it will begin to be used in 2020.
The sensor of temperature monitoring ExT is created by technical specialists of the SIBUR together with the Russian company "M-Plata". The high share of domestic component parts allowed to save its small cost, despite crisis and growth of a dual currency basket.
The device is completely Russian development on which creation engineers of our company and SIBUR jointly worked. In the price amount of component parts from which the sensor gathers it was succeeded to pass to use of domestic component parts in an essential share that, first, significantly reduced product cost, and secondly, does a product less dependent on currency market conditions.
