Millionaires
In December 2021, the millionerov in Cambodia was obliged to wear an official uniform.
The authorities believe that in such an outfit, wealthy residents of the country should appear at official events and festivals.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen signed by-law Decree No. 222, which requires tycoons, called oknha in Khmer, to appear in a special form at events.
The uniform consists of a shirt with shoulder straps, trousers or skirt and is decorated with accessories: a brooch, a gold necklace, a green belt with embroidery.
Tycoon Nurn Ork believes the uniform is very beautiful and similar to that of government officials as they go through an audience at the Royal Palace.
If one of the tycoons does not wear an official uniform for the sake of an event with a strict dress code, then he is entitled to a fine. Millionaires, according to the Prime Minister, should do sewing and paying for expenses on their own.

Japan's ally in the region was Thailand, which allowed Japanese troops to be deployed on its territory. In return, pro-Japanese Thailand received Laos and part of the territory of Cambodia.
