The St. Petersburg Data Processing Center (DPC) — structural division of Major computer center (GVTs Russian Railway), Russian Railways branch of JSC. The center is founded in 1967. Being a data processing center, renders IT services to JSC RZD holding, subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC RZD and other companies — consumers of information services.
The main objective of data-processing center is the satisfaction of requirements of JSC RZD, partners and third parties in IT services.
The data-processing center is included into problems of SPB: formation and strategy implementation of development of automated control systems of JSC RZD; formation of the program of informatization taking into account development of automated control systems of JSC RZD and the state target programs in the field of informatization, ensuring integration of the created information systems with national and international information exchange systems.
