As the founder of TON Labs, Alexander Filatov, told Forbes, the funding round took place back in 2020. The assessment of the startup based on the results of this transaction is not disclosed. The company intends to spend the funds received on business development.

The OpenSource project TON and its team are "radically different" from other companies in the blockchain industry, Chikhachev noted.

TON Labs Technical Director Dmitry Goroshevsky in an interview with Forklog, commenting on attracting investments, said that as technological ecosystems migrate to the blockchain, the demand for simple and effective development tools will increase.

By April 2021, about 60 programmers work at TON Labs.[1]
