Career

He worked in the team of Troika Dialog (since 2012 - Sberbank CIB) as an investment manager at the beginning of his career.

He served as investment director of the venture capital investment department of VTB Capital, where he participated in more than 15 venture capital transactions in the Russian Federation, the USA and the EU, including participating in syndicates with international venture capital funds (Sequoia Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Google Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures). Several portfolio companies were brought to the stage of successful "exit" (M&A and MBO in the Russian Federation, IPO on NASDAQ, M&A in the USA).

Vladimir stood at the origins of the creation of Skolkovo Ventures, being the head of the investment service of the Skolkovo Foundation since 2015.

Since the founding of Skolkovo Ventures in 2017, he has led the investment block.

In August 2019, Vladimir Sakovich was appointed CEO of Skolkovo Ventures. In this post, he replaced the founding partner of Skolkovo Ventures Vasily Belov.
