Biography

Was born on February 20, 1971.

Graduated from economics department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1994. In 1997 graduated from Institute of the USA and Canada of RAS.

From March, 1995 to October, 1998 - the brand manager, the sales and marketing director in Eastern Europe, the marketing director in CIS and Baltic countries in representative office of the Italian company Merloni Elettrodomestici S.p.A.

From 1998 to 2001 - the marketing director in the Russian department of the German corporation Bosch und Siemens.

2001: The marketing director in VimpelCom

From 2001 to 2007 - VimpelCom, the marketing director. Was responsible for rebranding of Beeline in 2005. In July, 2007 VimpelCom appointed Olga the development director of venture business.

2009: CEO Rambler

From April, 2009 to July 28, 2010 — the CEO and the board member of Rambler company. In Rambler the task to stop falling of a market share of search was set for it. In the spring of 2009 it made 4.9%, according to Liveinternet, and in June, 2010 Rambler processed only 2.6% of search queries in Runet. The first what I faced — people did not believe here that the situation can be changed. All said: 'Nothing will turn out because at Rambler a bad karma'. The decadent mood was one of deep structural problems of Rambler, and I, frankly speaking, did not suspect that I should face in such measure a problem of motivation of employees", Turishcheva said.

2010: Return to VimpelCom

Since October, 2010 - the vice president for business development VimpelCom. Olga supervised venture assets of JSC VimpelCom. The circle of its tasks included building of optimal management model, increase in efficiency of venture businesses and also interaction with shareholders of joint ventures of VimpelCom.

2013: The marketing director in M.Video

Olga Turishcheva headed marketing of M.Video in 2013. Then the manager was faced by a task of creation and start of the general marketing platform which should was integrate in itself all communications.

In March, 2017 left M.Video.
