Corus Consulting integrates Microsoft Dynamics AX and EDMS into "International of Restorant Brends"

2020: Integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with e-document flow and EDI

On October 1, 2020 CORUS Consulting electronic document management Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 E-DOCUMENT FLOW EDI International of Restorant Brends Group " reported that implements the project of integration of the module into R2 with and for company – the franchasing partner Yum! Brands (KFC). The updated tool will allow to optimize process data exchange with key partners, will accelerate legally significant document flow using electronic signature and will increase efficiency business processes.

According to the company, "International of Restorant Brends" was required to automate execution of operations within legally significant document flow with four key suppliers of restaurants. For stable and 24/7 correct data exchange it was decided to finish functionality of a subsystem of e-document flow in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

As the IT partner of the project CORUS Consulting Group was selected. Specialists of the company will configure electronic document management through exchange of EDI messages and also will finish the current functionality of data exchange and will configure work with the electronic signature and the system of e-document flow provider. It is important that within the project message exchange about returns to EDI, price analysis of suppliers and exchange of documents of PRICAT will be automated that will allow "International of Restorant Brends" to optimize information exchange time with suppliers and to reduce quantity of the errors arising in routine processes.

The solution will increase e-document flow performance, will lower labor costs of employees on accomplishment of routine transactions and influence of a human factor on legally significant document flow. It is expected that access to functions will appear in the company in January, 2021.

The project for "International of Restorant Brends" covers not only different methods of electronic exchange, but also message exchange about returns – rather difficult functionality. Svetlana Borisova, the head of Microsoft ERP support department of CORUS Consulting Group told
