According to the developer, the transition to ETK is part of the national project "Digital Economy." According to the legislators, electronic work books will bring a lot of benefits:

As noted in the Tensor company, an updated sending scheme is used to transmit the SZV-TD report. Telecom operators are developing it from scratch. 1. Install a system for submitting electronic reporting and register in the FIU electronic document management system. 2. Study the SZV-TD form and its filling rules. 3. Adjust internal regulations, notify employees about the possibility of switching to ETK by June 30, 2020, and collect applications for choosing a labor format by February 15, 2021.
