2018: Salesforce.com purchased Datorama
On July 16, 2018 the producer of corporate cloud solutions Salesforce.com announced Datorama purchase. Though its participants did not disclose the cost of the transaction, the Israeli newspaper Calcalist knows of it — about $800 million.
According to the statement of Salesforce.com, the company as a result of acquisition of Datorama will be able to offer clients "expanded data integration and intelligent tools" through a cloud.
As notes Bloomberg, the transaction will help Salesforce.com to improve the opportunities of data analysis therefore products of the company will provide to marketing specialists even more useful information about potential clients. Besides, Salesforce.com will increase the competitiveness in fight against Adobe and Oracle in the market of marketing software, transfers news agency.
Salesforce.com intends to save Datorama headquarters in Tel Aviv and all personnel (about 400 employees) working there.[1]
