Neiry (formerly Impulse Neiry) develops products based on brain-computer interface technologies applicable in entertainment, education, industry and medicine. A distinctive feature of the company's products are algorithms for analyzing the bioelectric activity of the brain based on convolutional neural networks, which eliminate the need to train/calibrate the system on a new user.

The main idea of the project is to create an international network of game neuroattractions and a base of computer games with neuromanagement, interconnected by a distributed infrastructure for automated collection, quality analysis and storage of large neurodata about the brain and physiological activity of users in the process of solving various game and educational problems, and in the future - carrying out research work aimed at analyzing the obtained neurodata and developing algorithms for analyzing the electrical activity of the brain.

History

2021

Attracting 541 million rubles of investments, an estimate of 2.4 billion rubles

On May 17, 2021, Neiry announced the attraction of 541 million rubles of investments. According to the results of the Series A round, the developer of neurointerfaces and neurodata processing algorithms was estimated at 2.4 billion rubles.

Most of all, as part of a new investment transaction, Neiry invested a fund to support projects of the National Technology Initiative - 360.5 million rubles. Other investors provided a total of 180.5 million rubles.

According to Neiry CEO Alexander Panov, the attracted investments will to startup help expand the application of interfaces - brain a computer in the consumer and industrial segments. And this, in turn, will give a chance to influence the acceleration of human evolution as a whole with computers, he said.

The company also plans a wide expansion into international markets: sales of the product by May 17, 2021 started in the United States, Singapore and Kazakhstan. In 2021, Neiry launched three pilot projects at once in Moscow, Kazan and the Leningrad Region - school students were able to test VR helmets with built-in interfaces and undergo virtual reality testing based on materials from the school curriculum. In total, more than 100 children took part in the pilot projects.

As noted in the press service of the platform of the National Technological Initiative, neural network analysis will help to obtain generalized algorithms for calculating the cognitive potential of a person. At the initial stage, Neiry plans to create several algorithms for analyzing the bioelectric activity of the brain: one of them will form signals for biocontrolling and interaction with external devices based on the brain-computer interface, the other will monitor a person's condition and determine the level of his cognitive resources.

In 2021, the company plans to release a set of software development tools with a neurointerface for developers of scientists. The start-up focuses on the education, entertainment and wearable market sectors.[1]

Rebranding

In 2021, the company rebranded, changing the brand name from Impulse Neiry to Neiry.
