Biography

Andrey Aksenov graduated from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, in the same place - graduate school (candidate of economic sciences). He later received an ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) diploma.

He worked as vice president (2007-2013) at Elbrus Capital.

He headed the companies Strela Telecom (regional operator of broadband Internet access and cable TV) and OSG Records Management (a player in the field of archival storage, management, confidential destruction and electronic archiving of documents).

2021: CEO IXcellerate

On July 6, 2021, IXcellerate announced the appointment of Andrei Aksenov to the post of CEO of IXcellerate (IXELEREIT LLC). Previously, this position was held by Guy Willner, who combined the post of CEO and chairman of the board of directors. Shareholders and the Board of Directors decided to localize the highest management positions and transfer them to Russia due to the active growth of the company and large-scale development plans in the Russian market.

The main tasks of Andrey as the head of the company are the implementation of the long-term strategy IXcellerate, which includes the commissioning of additional data center capacities in accordance with the increasing demand of customers for colocation services both in Moscow and in the regions. By 2023, the company intends to win 25% of the Russian market for commercial data centers.

Guy Willner will continue to lead the company in the status of chairman of the board of directors, focusing on developing a strategy, building relationships with investors and international clients.
