History
2021: Raising $14.5 million
In mid-July 2021, the developer of the video analysis system for machine learning SuperAnnotate raised $14.5 million in the Series A investment round, which was led by Base10 Partners. Existing investors Point Nine Capital, Runa Capital and Fathom Capital also invested in the startup.
The startup plans to use the funds raised for business development at the expense of marketing specialists. SuperAnnotate management also intends to increase its customer base by 10-20 times over the next 12 months, expand the company's team in the United States and continue to develop the product both by increasing automation capabilities and by adding and supporting various verticals on the platform that are still at an early stage in the implementation of computer vision, such as aerial photography and medical imaging.
The SuperAnnotate management notes that one of the main goals of the startup is to make computer vision accessible to people without technical education.
