Qnami is a Swiss company developing quantum mechanics technologies. The first commercial product of the startup was the Qnami ProteusQ magnetometer, a device for measuring the characteristics of the magnetic field and magnetic properties of materials. In addition, the company is developing a quantum microscope project in applications that allow you to design and produce quantum computers and devices associated with spintronics.

History

2021: Attraction of 3.6 million euros of investments, including from Runa Capital

In May 2021, Qnami announced the attraction of 3.6 million euros in investments in the Series A round, which was headed by venture funds Runa Capital (previously invested in quantum projects) and SIT Capital. Quantonation, Verve Ventures, ZKB Start-up Finance and High Tech Gründerfond also participated in the financial transaction.

What time did investors value Qnami according to the results of the financing round, it is not reported. Also unknown are any details of the transaction, including the shares of investors in the project.

We got a good market reaction to the output of ProteusQ and Quantilevers to research materials. Leading researchers are already using Qnami technologies to detect and describe the magnetic properties of new materials, says Qnami co-founder and CEO Mathieu Münsch. - Tools for managing the design and production of such materials on a submicron scale are needed to manage product development and improve productivity.

According to him, thanks to attracting investments in May 2021, the company will be able to expand its technologies in a cryogenic low-temperature environment, as well as in the field of design and production of spintronics, which will allow scientists and process engineers to directly visualize the effect of any small change in their design or production process.[1]
