Engineers of Trinities, a system integrator and Russian manufacturer of IT equipment, have developed a server for training neural networks based on  the Trinities two-processor two-unitary server included in the register of Russian industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, using three TESLA T4 GPUs. According to the company, the use of neural networks for October 2022 is everywhere, for example, to solve problems video analytics, media processing, cryptography, 3D modeling and animation, scientific research - all these systems are trained on large volumes data. Since the infrastructure of such systems is very large (usually we are talking about dozens and hundreds of servers), a high density of computing resources is needed, which dictates special requirements for the design, power and cooling of servers. At the same time, it is important for Russian companies that the equipment met the requirements of import independence, and ensured stable operation of the infrastructure.

To solve such problems, Trinities engineers have developed a specialized version of the Trinities ER220R server included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. When installing several GPUs in a standard server, overheating is observed as a whole machines, and especially the graphics accelerators themselves. Server components have built-in thermal protection, but under long maximum loads, the frequencies of processors and GPUs (trottling) are reduced - which reduces the cost-effectiveness of implementing the complex (more servers are required to ensure stable performance). As part of the development of a large analytical system for one of the customers, Trinities engineers quickly developed and manufactured a solution that provides cooling for several GPUs.

Small batches of components can be made with additive technologies "from the screen," and if we are talking about large circulations, then production chains have already been debugged for rapid "traditional" manufacture in metal and plastic.
