History
2022: Bringing in $26 million in investments
Chattermill raised $26 million from Beringea, an American venture capital firm, as well as a number of other venture capital funds, including Runa Capital, DN Capital, Ventech, Btov, SVB and Blossom Street Ventures. This became known in December 2022.
Chattermill was founded in 2015 by Mikhail Dubov and Dmitry Isupov as part of the Entrepreneur First Enterprise Builder program. Giants such as Uber and Amazon use Chattermill to unify all of their data customers, integrate with social networks, feedback and user support tools, online review sites, and more. As a result, it becomes possible to create "a single source of trust information about clients."
To combine the data, Chattermill created its own deep learning models. Over time, they become smarter by reusing knowledge from millions of sources. In addition, architectural improvements are constantly being implemented. Particular attention is paid to the quality of information extracted using machine learning and artificial intelligence methods.
Approximately three years ago, Chattermill received $8 million for development during the Series A funding round. The current Series B investment program of $26 million will help Chattermill develop business in Europe and the United States. Chattermill can be compared to various other data management platforms such as publicly traded Qualtrics and Medallia, as well as younger firms like Wonderflow. Despite the obvious similarities, Dubov believes that one of the key trump cards Chattermill has compared to competitors is the quality of information. Chattermill is said to evaluate meaningful concepts in the data, whereas most other companies use keywords or keywords.[1]
