2022: Raising $15 million in investments

On October 11, 2022, the startup Quantori, specializing in biopharmaceutical solutions, announced an initial investment of $15 million. The funds for development were provided by the venture fund Flint Capital, which finances high-tech projects in various fields.

Quantori has Russian roots: it was founded in 2020 by Richard Golob, Yuri Gankin and Vitaly Aronov. The main office of the startup is located in Boston (Massachusetts, USA), but there is also a representative office in St. Petersburg. Today, Quantori has approximately 700 employees.

Quantori raises $15M

Quantori is developing a dedicated platform for pharmaceutical projects. It is designed to accelerate the development of prototypes of promising drugs and new methods of therapy, including personalized approaches. It is assumed that eventually the platform will combine four key components: the research engine, the HPC module, the data engineering unit and the analytical node. Customers will be able to combine these components depending on their own tasks, receiving a solution optimized for certain needs. It is claimed that the system can increase computing performance by 5-10 times compared to existing analogues, as well as reduce the cost of developing drugs.

After attracting $15 million in investments, the estimated value of Quantori is $100 million. It is said that the company already supports approximately 30 customers. These include Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Takeda, Biogen, etc. This year, the startup expects to receive revenue in the amount of $30 million. According to Mr. Gankin, Quantori is focused on rapid growth, and the main priority is precisely the creation of a service platform, and not the production of products.[1]
