Founded in January 2021, Antidote Health offers an Israeli-inspired health care model for providing medical care, connects patients with doctors through chat bots and video calls.

As in the Israeli system, patients who use Antidote Health AI solutions pay a monthly membership fee that starts at $29 per month. The company also offers a family health insurance plan that involves a monthly fee of $59 and includes unlimited doctor visits, zero surcharge for most prescription drugs, and control over its medical records. Any family member can use telemedicine services.

History

2021: Raising $12 million

At the end of August 2021, Antidote Health raised $12 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by business angels, including iAngels, Well-Tech Ventures and the Russian fund Flint Capital.

By September 2021, Antidote Health employs 50 doctors, and by the end of the quarter it is planned to increase their number to 100. So far, the company operates in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Florida and North Carolina. Co-founder and company president Ben Enosha noted that the company plans to use seed funding to expand the geography of service provision, in particular, California residents will have access to the service .

Although Antidote Health is only offering emergency and primary care so far, the company aims to expand its clinical services in the next quarter, Enosh said. In the long run, Antidote Health plans to expand nationally, focusing on the low-income, uninsured, and unearmarked U.S. population.[1]
