Flint Capital, a venture capital fund managed by Flint Management, has been operating since spring 2013. The project of the management team, ex-managers of the investment fund Finam Global, Flint Capital focuses on working with promising, scalable, technological projects aimed at large fast-growing markets in the USA, Latin America and Europe. The fund is invested in financial projects, mobile, advertising and cloud technologies.

The main investment criteria of Flint Capital are the financial stability of the business model, a reliable team, profitability and a clear strategy for exiting the project.

  • In the summer of 2016, the Flint Capital venture fund invested $3 million in the Israeli startup CyberX, which supplies cybersecurity solutions for the industrial Internet of Things (Internet on Things, IoT). About this "Vedomosti"[1] said the partner of the fund Sergey Gribov. In addition to Flint Capital, CyberX received money from Glilot Capital, Swarth Group, GlenRock funds, the total amount of the investment round was $9 million, Flint Capital said in a statement.
  • In mid-July 2016, Flint Capital participated in a $6.2 million round of investments when the SistemaVC fund was invested in YouDo.
  • In November 2014, Flint Capital invested 5 million euros in the Latvian company Creamfinance, which manages microfinance services in Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Georgia.
  • In November 2013, Flint Capital and Prostor Capital invested $3 million in the Russian microfinance service Platiza.
  • In October 2013, Flint Capital invested $1 million in the YouDo consumer services service.

2022

Investing $15 million in Quantori

On October 11, 2022, the startup Quantori, specializing in biopharmaceutical solutions, announced an initial investment of $15 million. The funds for development were provided by the venture fund Flint Capital, which finances high-tech projects in various fields. Read more here.

Circles, which developed the online group emotional support platform, announced on May 24, 2022, an investment of $16.5 million. On February 11, 2022, ODAIA announced the raising of $13.8 million in investments as part of the Series A financing round. It was headed by a fund with Russian roots Flint Capital with the participation of Innospark Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Graphite Ventures and current investors BDC Capital's Women in Tech Fund, MaRS IAF, StandUp Ventures, Panache Ventures and others. Investing in Jiffy express delivery service

In September 2021, Jiffy announced a $28 million investment. The received funds of the service of express delivery of products intends to spend on the geographical expansion of its presence in London and other British cities, in which more than 100 thousand people live. In early August 2021, it became known that the Russian Flint Capital fund invested in the Israeli company Cyolo, which develops the Zero Trust Network Access 2.0 database protection platform. The startup raised $21 million in a Series A funding round led by venture capital fund Glilot Capital Partners with National Grid Partners and Merlin Ventures. In mid-March 2021, Flint Capital invested again in Socure, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to verify identity. Investing in AgeTech solutions developer Sensi Ai

As it became known on December 24, 2020, Flint Capital, a venture capital fund with Russian roots, invested $1 million in Sensi Ai. A seed round was held, as a result of which Flint received a small minority stake in the Israeli project. More details of the deal were not disclosed. Sale of interest in Snap Voca.ai

On November 11, 2020, Snap, which develops the Snapchat messenger, announced the purchase of Voca.ai for $70 million. Flint Capital sold its stake in the Israeli developer of voice assistants for call centers.
