The device is based on an energy efficient 8-core processor MediaTek Helio G99 (6 nm), which provides optimal performance for working with corporate applications, documents and specialized services. The amount of RAM reaches 12 GB, which allows you to comfortably use multitasking, and the built-in storage of up to 512 GB expandable via microSD (up to 512 GB) makes the device convenient for working with local data in isolated networks.

The large 10.36-inch screen is optimal for interacting with business application interfaces, viewing technical documentation and conducting video conferencing. The built-in cameras - front 5 megapixel and main 13 megapixel with autofocus - allow you to use the P-TAB for service video calls and documenting workflows.

A battery with a capacity of up to 7500 mAh with support for fast charging with a capacity of up to 27 W is responsible for autonomy, which is critical for employees on the road or when working in the field.

The tablet supports all modern communication standards:

• 2 nano-SIM for corporate and public networks,
• Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz,
• NFC for secure identification,
• Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting peripherals,

The R-TAB tablet is designed to meet the requirements of corporate and government customers, where not only hardware is important, but also its compatibility with security policies and manageability within a single IT infrastructure.

R-TAB operates under the control of the protected Russian mobile operating system ROSA Mobile, created by STC IT ROSA. All operating systems of the company - desktop, server, mobile and embedded, are based on a single ROSA technology platform. It includes the ABF build system and the ROSA 2021.1 repository, which has been formed for more than 10 years and includes about 35 thousand proven programs and applications. This approach allows you to build a secure information space for corporate and government customers, ensuring compatibility and management of the IT environment regardless of the type of device - from workstations and servers to mobile solutions such as R-FON and R-TAB.

Due to the multi-platform nature, ROSA ecosystem applications work on all devices without the need for adaptation, while meeting corporate security standards. This is especially true for organizations with mobile and remote employees who receive stable access to a single set of services, regardless of their location.

Another important security factor is that when creating the R-TAB, as well as the R-FON smartphone, a solution was implemented with full control over the hardware and software, which meets the principles of trusted technology. The hardware is produced by Rutek at a plant in Saransk (Republic of Mordovia), and ROSA is responsible for creating the operating system, system applications, ecosystem and writing driver code.

This approach is especially important in the context of modern cyber threats, when vulnerabilities can be laid both in hardware (the so-called "hardware bookmarks") and in drivers that ensure the operation of the device. Control over each line of code and all components allows you to eliminate hidden functions that can be used for unauthorized access or surveillance.

Operating systems of the ROSA family include a full set of services for creating a comfortable and secure digital environment:

• ROSA ID is a single account for accessing the company's services and products.
• ROSA Control Center is a platform for centralized administration of workstations, servers, smartphones and tablets based on ROSA Mobile, which makes it a universal tool for the IT infrastructure of enterprises and government organizations.
• DEW Notifications is a PUSH notification system that integrates with applications on any OS of the DEW family.
• ROSA Messenger is a secure tool for communication with support for data encryption, multimedia exchange and creation of information channels.
• ROSA Import of contacts - service for transferring the contact book from smartphone Android to ROSA Mobile. The user needs to connect two devices according to, Bluetooth install a special one and, application following the instructions, transfer the data to R-FON or R-TAB.
• ROSA Mail is a mail client for receiving letters from various services.

As well as a standard set of applications: File Manager ("Files"), Phone and Contacts, Settings, Browser, Calendar, Notes, Voice Recorder, Gallery and Camera.

R-TAB and R-FON are already available to corporate and government customers.

2024: Announcement of the R-Tab tablet

On June 6, 2024, Rutek, the manufacturer of the domestic R-Fon smartphone, announced the R-Tab tablet. The gadget operates under the control of the Russian operating system "Rosa Mobile" based on Linux.

It is known that the novelty is made in an aluminum case. As of the specified date, there is no information about the type of processor, memory size and screen characteristics. But it is noted that the display around the entire perimeter is surrounded by fairly wide frames. In the upper left corner on the back panel there is a single camera with flash.

The tablet is preinstalled with a basic set of applications, which includes a browser, gallery, calendar, calculator, watch, etc. In addition, you can install the P7-Office office suite - this, according to Hi-Tech Mail.ru, is the first partner product available on Rosa Mobile OS and uploaded to the Rosa Market application store.

According to the Mobile-Review.com resource, R-Tab will be cheaper than the domestic Kvadra T tablet, which, as of early June 2024, is available for order at an estimated price of 42 thousand rubles. This device is equipped with a 10.95-inch IPS display with Full HD + resolution, a 4G module and a 128 GB drive^[1]
