2024: Delivery via post offices "Halva Express"

Users of the Avito service will be able to receive ordered goods in the Halva Express post office. By the end of September 2024, the project will be scaled up to the whole of Russia and more than 3,000 post offices. Avito reported this on August 5, 2024.

Avito Delivery allows platform customers to buy and sell goods outside of their city, and also secures deals for both parties. For August 2024, Avito expands the possibilities of both intra-city and long-distance delivery by concluding a partnership with Halva Express. The pilot project was launched in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. In August 2024, it is available in Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Khabarovsk.

More than 60 million users interact on Avito every month. Orders through postomats in the service are growing steadily: in the six months of 2024, their number has doubled compared to the first half of 2023. More than a third of sellers who connected Avito Delivery use postomats. This service has become especially popular in the category "Clothes, shoes and accessories." The inclusion of Halva Express mail machines in our partner network expands the capabilities of Avito Delivery: this will further bring the points of sending or receiving orders closer to our customers, - said Sergey Pustylnik, Avito Logistics Director.

Through the posts "Halva Express" you can send or receive parcels up to 15 kg. The maximum order cost at the start will be 15,000 rubles, but in the future the limit is planned to be increased to 50,000 rubles. Parcels will be stored up to seven calendar days, and it will be possible to extend the shelf life for another week. To pass and receive, it is enough to scan the QR code or enter the opening code of the mail cell. Buyer protection is also provided if there are any problems with the product: the user needs to write in support of Avito, where they will understand the situation and help to issue compensation.
