2024: Evocargo N1 usage

Wildberries expanded cooperation with the Russian manufacturer and supplier of transport and logistics services EvoCargo. Over the past year and a half, EvoCargo autonomous electric trucks have been launched at two warehouse complexes of the marketplace in the Moscow Region, and in September 2024 they began to run at the third site - in Rostov-on-Don. As of September 2024, Wildberries has formed the largest fleet of autonomous trucks in Russia. EvoCargo reported this on September 17, 2024.

Autonomous transport Evocargo N1 independently delivers cargo between the warehouse blocks - the cars move without the participation of the driver due to the fifth generation autopilot. Systems are controlled on the basis of artificial intelligence - multisensory systems allow the truck to determine its position in space and accurately perform all the usual transport maneuvers. All trucks move around the site at a safe speed.

Cars operate without combustible fuel and are charged from electricity - this allows you to significantly reduce the amount of negative emissions into the atmosphere and increase the environmental friendliness of logistics processes.

As of September 2024, electric trucks transported about half a million pallets with goods, and the total mileage through the territories of Wildberries warehouse complexes overcame the 20,000 km bar.

Our partnership with EvoCargo helps to improve and optimize logistics processes at our facilities. During our cooperation and the use of autonomous trucks, we have seen positive dynamics and are scaling this practice to another of our facilities - in Rostov-on-Don. We will continue to increase the number of autonomous trucks in the fleet in order to increase the speed of delivery of goods between blocks, as well as increase the environmental friendliness of our processes, "said Nikita Nikitin, Deputy Head of the Wildberries Transport Logistics Department.

Our cooperation with Wildberries already on the third major site shows the real readiness of large Russian companies to integrate autonomous technologies into logistics at different levels. First of all, companies use them in order to reduce operating costs, reducing human involvement in the processes of routine transport operations. The level of reliability is also growing, since automation significantly reduces the number of risks and increases the ability to control the movement of goods, - said Vasily Zhukov, Deputy General Director-Commercial Director of EvoCargo.
