Education

In 1986, Oleg Ergashev graduated from the Gorky Medical Institute. Then the Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. He has the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. He has the academic title "Professor."

Career

1992-2010

From 1992 to 1995 - surgeon at the Department of Surgery for Advanced Medical Studies at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Emergency Medicine named after I.I. Janelidze.

From 1995 to 2002 - leading surgeon of the Central Hospital of a group of Russian troops in Transcaucasia.

From 2002 to 2003 - lecturer at the Department of General Surgery of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy.

From 2003 to 2010 - lecturer, associate professor of the department and clinic of military field surgery, head of the department of planned surgery of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy.

2012-2021

From 2012 to 2021 - Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov.

Since March 5, 2020 - Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, in charge of health, social nutrition and social policy

2024: Appointment as curator of the Committee for Informatization and Communications of St. Petersburg

On November 11, 2024, the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, announced the formation of a new composition of the city government. Vice-Governor Oleg Ergashev retained his post, and was also appointed interim curator of the Committee on Informatization and Communications of St. Petersburg.

According to the press service of the St. Petersburg administration, in addition to the Committee on Informatization and Communications of St. Petersburg, Ergashev also coordinates and monitors the activities of the Health Committee and the Veterinary Department of St. Petersburg.

Earlier in November 2024, Vice Governor Stanislav Kazarin, who oversaw the work of the Committee on Informatization and Communications, left his post of his own free will.[1]
